The latest release from Vilaura, fresh off a run of standout awards, is an absolute class act. Crafted from hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Wairau Valley, this elegant rosé spends a minimum of 36 months on lees before being hand-riddled and disgorged with a precise 2.0g/L dosage.

In the glass, it shows a subtle cherry blush and a fine, persistent mousse. Aromas of pomegranate and candied apple lead to a beautifully pure palate with mineral drive, hints of quince and brioche, and a subtle thread of raspberry-sherbet acidity. Wonderfully dry, this is pitch-perfect as an aperitif, with light entrées, or alongside a delicate dessert.

The winery writes "A subtle cherry hue with a fine persistent mousse carrying aromas of pomegranate and candied apple. The palate leads a fine mineral persistence with hints of quince and brioche all layered over a fine seam of raspberry sherbet acidity. Extra brut in style, this dry Methode Traditionelle is best enjoyed as an aperitif, to accompany an entree course or paired with a delicate dessert."

Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
