It opens with a lively bouquet of red berries, black cherry and violets, with underlying hints of clove and baking spice. The palate brings darker, more savoury depth. Think liquorice, dried herbs and a gentle thread of oak wrapped in a smooth, velvet-like texture. Everything is in balance here: fruit, spice, florals and fine tannin, all coming together in a long, elegant finish.

The winery writes "Dark red and purple tones, with black cherries, florals and spice with red berries. Deep liquorice with dried herbs and classic cracked pepper notes unique to Hawke's Bay."

Hastings & Napier URBAN areas

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
