Over the last decade, this wine has developed a huge following with the Advintage Chardonnay Faithful, and we're stoked to have this wonderful 2025 vintage in stock. It's a lovely example of thoroughly modern, oak aged chardonnay from highly experienced Hawke's Bay winemaker, Julianne (Julz) Brogden. This wine walks the tightrope between power and elegance with real aplomb - melding opulent fruit weight and creamy mouthfeel with layers of vibrant acidity. Stone fruit, citrus and some touches of minerality build through the palate and the finish is both very refreshing and very long lasting.

Tasting Notes

A classically styled, obviously well-made example of modern barrel-fermented chardonnay. Ripe and inviting on the nose with stonefruit, citrus and oak spice hints, the palate blossoms, developing those characters within a creamy, rounded framework, with plenty of fresh, citrus-led, acidity. The finish is impossibly long and bright - promising real cellar ability.
The winery writes "90% Kokako Vineyard, Ohiti Valley 10% Ascot Vineyard, Havelock North. Pure, fresh textural barrel aged Chardonnay. Bright, light yellow/green, it is mouthfilling and vibrant with hints of stonefruit and citrus. Creamy and textural with a refreshing dry mineral finish. Approachable and delicious."

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
