The Castaño Hécula Monastrell 2022 is a bold yet beautifully polished Spanish red from the sun-drenched region of Yecla. Crafted by the Castaño family from mature bush vines, this monastrell spends six months in French and American oak, adding subtle spice and silky texture without stealing the spotlight from the fruit.

Bright ruby red in the glass, Hécula bursts with ripe boysenberry, wild herbs, and a touch of rhubarb, balanced by soft tannins and a lively freshness that keeps you coming back for another sip. Rich enough for smoky meats and spicy tacos, but smooth enough to enjoy long into the evening with good company.

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
