A beautifully expressive Southern Rhône white blend of grenache blanc, roussanne, marsanne, clairette and bourboulenc, lifted by a touch of viognier. While the Rhône Valley is best known for its red wines, white wines have a long and celebrated heritage in the region, and La Fleur Solitaire is a wonderful example of their elegance and complexity.

Delicate floral aromas, ripe stone fruit and citrus notes are complemented by subtle hints of fennel and spice. Careful use of oak adds texture and structure without masking the wine's freshness, resulting in a refined, layered palate with a long, harmonious finish.

A lovely apéritif, this versatile white also pairs beautifully with lighter dishes such as grilled asparagus drizzled with olive oil and toasted almonds, fresh goat's cheese salads, or simply enjoyed on a sunny afternoon with good company.

The winery writes "Proper white Côtes du Rhône; fresh, medium-bodied, vinous. The nose is pretty and delicate, with awaft of fennel tops and hints of hedgerow flowers. The flavours are nuanced and refined rather thanovert. Careful use of oak adds texture and structure without masking the freshness of this verydrinkable white."

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
