Sandeman Beat is a gorgeous modern take on White Port – fresh, aromatic and made with mixing in mind. Lighter and brighter than you might expect from Port, it’s packed with ripe white fruit character, subtle citrus and delicate floral notes, all pulled together by beautifully integrated acidity.

The palate is smooth and generous without feeling heavy, with plenty of fresh fruit and a clean, lively finish. There’s a lovely balance between sweetness and freshness here, making it seriously approachable served well chilled while also giving it everything it needs to shine in a cocktail.

Pour it over plenty of ice with tonic, soda or sparkling water and a slice of citrus for an incredibly refreshing long drink, or use it as the base for your next cocktail creation. It’s a brilliant alternative to gin or vermouth when you’re after something a little different.

The winery writes "Bright looking, citrine coloured wine with golden nuances. Aroma of good intensity, with a predominance of ripe white fruits, notes of tropical fruit and slightly floral. It is balanced on the palate, with very well integrated acidity, with a presence of white fruits and a good harmonious finish."

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
