A full-bodied wine with a serious depth of colour and loads of ripe, generous fruit. The nose is packed with intense cherry and dark plum aromas, followed by hints of blackberry, sweet spice and a touch of savoury warmth.

Rich and mouth-filling on the palate, there’s plenty of that plush, sun-ripened fruit that makes Primitivo such an easy wine to love. The texture is smooth and supple, with soft tannins and enough freshness to keep all that richness nicely in check. Warm, rounded and harmonious, it delivers plenty of flavour without becoming too heavy or overdone.

This is exactly the sort of red that disappears quickly once the bottle is open. Pair it with pizza, pasta with a rich tomato or meat sauce, barbecued meats, sausages or a hearty lasagne.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
