Created using traditional methods in a copper Alquitar still, this hand-crafted gin is brought to life by Aotearoa's native forests and the variety of botanicals available at our fingertips. They work closely with local growers and forage themselves to allow them to achieve a delicate balance of flavours that elevates a single native botanical.

This unique take on a time old spirit provides an elegant and exciting tasting experience that continuously gives back to nature.

Kakapo Distillery is inspired by the Kakapo and is proud to support them by gifting 10% of their profits to the Department of Conservation's Kakapo Recovery program. This group of dedicated scientists, rangers, and volunteers work hard to protect and grow this critically endangered Taonga species.

Tasting Notes

The Kawakawa and Pink Peppercorn Gin has a warming touch of spice, a lingering herbal note of kawakawa, and a strong juniper presence. Great with an Indian Tonic or in a spirit forward cocktail.

A change to the licencing laws means we can no longer advertise discounts on our website that show savings of 25% or more off the recommended retail product price. North Island and South Island
$9.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
Rural surcharge of $4.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Hastings & Napier URBAN areas
$6.99 per case of 12 (or part case).

Spend $450 or more in a single order, and freight drops to $4.99 per dozen (rural surcharges still apply). This does not apply to Outer NZ Deliveries listed below.

Outer Islands (Waiheke Island, Stewart Island etc) 
Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
