Some subtle spice details add interest on the mid palate and provide interplay with the oak component, but this reserve wine is all about showcasing the savoury detail of those prime Martinborough fruits. Excellent wine. We loved it.

Tasting Notes

The winery writes "This vintage is ruby red and garnet color. The nose is bright with pure hints of cherry blossom, fine grain cedar, and at this early stage, primary red fruit notes. The front palate shows sweet and elegant fruit upfront with lush mocha and darker fruit in the mid-palate. The wine drives a soft, delicate acidity, and refined with hints of perky, chalky tannins. The finish is fleshy with a juicy acidity that carries it through a balance of elegance and rising power."

Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
