A vibrant Portuguese red that delivers exceptional value and effortless drinkability. The Bons Ventos 2020 is an aromatic blend of traditional Portuguese varieties including touriga nacional, castelão, camarate and tinta miúda, grown in the sun-soaked Lisboa region.

In the glass, it opens with lifted aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries and sweet red fruits. The palate is smooth and juicy, layered with concentrated berry flavours, subtle oak and a touch of spice. Fine tannins and bright acidity give the wine balance and freshness, finishing with hints of liquorice and warm spice. Easy-going yet characterful, this is a versatile red that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, pasta dishes or relaxed midweek dinners.

The winery writes "Very aromatic with notes of ripe black and red fruits. In the palate, has a fruity start, very smooth and with concentrated red fruit flavours, well balanced with oak notes and a nice, pronounced acidity. The fresh, yet fine tannins take over at finish, where flavours of spice and liquorice dominate."

Freight is $49.99 per case of 12 (or part case).
N.B. Deliveries to Great Barrier Island must be collected from the wharf (No deliveries to individual addresses)

As long as we receive your order before 2.00pm, in most cases your order will be delivered in one - two days if you live in mainland non-rural North Island. Friday orders will be delivered the following Monday. Rural or South Island deliveries take a day or two longer.
