Elephant Hill are well known for their highly sought after Hawke's Bay Viognier and this plush 2023 release ticks every box for us. This is delicious summer wine - beautifully fresh, fragrant and balanced. Lots of attention in the winery has added complexity and creamy mouthfeel and pushes this wine into the 'must try' category for any discerning viognier fan.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Aromatic, floral and fresh, scents of apricot and nectarine, a mix of white fleshed fruits and saline gravelly soil suggestions. Excellent weight and intensity on the palate with a mix of fruit and barrel spices framing core fruit flavours of yellow fleshed stone fruit, apple and flowers. Lengthy, balanced, well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2029."
