What a delight this is - a fresh, zingy vermintino that captures the essence of summer and puts it in your glass. Often called 'the white wine alternate to dry Italian rosé', vermintino gives you crisp flavours of zesty citrus, peach and pear - with good texture in the mouth and plenty of acidity. It's a real crowd pleaser and this 2021 release from San Felice is especially fun and friendly. It's a great option for those who like their pinot gris or riesling on the drier side - and the DOC classification means quality is assured.
Match with casual alfresco meals - especially salads and seafood - as the sun goes down. Great buying.
