Sublime riesling from Tope, a boutique winery founded in 2019 by mates Tom and Pete with a vision to produce wines that are true to their vineyard sites with no synthetic chemicals. Their 2022 Riesling is one of the founding pillars of Tope, and the label design pays homage to that - being the rental home where the boys first met.
Expect aromas of dehydrated oranges, fresh grapefuit and white blossom and citrus flavours on the palate. Fresh acidity is complimented by crisp minerality, giving the wine a lovely, dry finish.

The winery writes "This dry yet full bodied style of riesling is finely balanced with the natural phenolics from the grape; softening the layered and mouth filling structural acidity. The wine while intense in flavour is quite dry on the palate with a long salivating finish that leaves the palate clean and ready for more."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Pure and exquisite, the delicately fragrant bouquet shows lime cordial, crunchy apple, green tea and white floral nuances. The palate displays outstanding focus and concentration, wonderfully enhanced by refined texture and racy acidity, finishing impressively linear and mouth-watering."
