FIVE STARS | Yvonne Lorkin
93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
There's no doubt that Neudorf features in any conversation of NZ's finest producers and their wines consistently receive high praise from top international critics. Tiritiri is pitched at a more accessible price point than their other releases and it's an outstanding entry-level wine.
This Pinot Gris was allowed to undergo wild fermentation which brings an element of complexity to the palate. This wine is all about mouthfeel - it’s got depth, viscosity and richness, whilst still remaining fresh and vibrant. Its fresh and fruit bouquet makes it the perfect wine choice for 'hard to match dishes' and will really bring to life the zingy flavours of coriander, lime and chilli in Asian cuisine. Simply delicious - we can't get enough.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Very attractive bouquet filled with scents of fresh white nectarine and red apple flesh, there’s a fine lees mineral quality and very floral overall. A silky texture touches the palate first then warming alcohol and a refreshing acid line with a saline touch follows. Fruit flavours remain persistent with the acid line adding focus and mouthfeel."
The winery writes "A flirtatious, refreshing, gimme more Pinot Gris. A collision of white pepper, lily of valley and pear blossom, with just a peck on the cheek of acidity. This Gris is all about mouthfeel - it’s got depth, viscosity and richness, while staying deliciously clean and deceptively moreish. A classic, ticks-all-your-boxes Pinot Gris, with a touch of savoury, steely notes in the background - textbook Neudorf aromatic. Drink gently chilled with something spicy, be it fish, tofu or chicken - this wine is a go to for ‘hard to match’ dishes. So if you have lime, coriander and chilli on the bench to cook with, you need this in the fridge and a glass in your hand."
