BARREL FERMENTED WITH 25% NEW OAK
FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit - "Elegantly complex and inviting, finishing long and delicious."
93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS - "Bright, varietal, youthful and pure."
93/100 | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Great value, anytime chardonnay with good weight, rounded flavours of honeysuckle & white peach, and plenty of interest in the glass. Obvious complexity here thanks to barrel fermentation in 25% new oak, followed by a partial secondary malolactic fermentation adding extra weight and texture to the palate. Bargain priced and obvious value. Another great product from one of New Zealand's best value producers.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Bright, varietal, youthful and pure fruited bouquet with scents of white peach and fresh red apple flesh, a mix of fine lees and softly spoken aromas of wood add complexity to a vibrant youthful frame. Lovely impact and texture as the wine touches the palate, the purity reflects the bouquet with pomaceous fruits, then citrus with a grapefruit note, and a light seam of flintiness."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Elegantly complex and inviting, the bouquet shows ripe apricot, melon, subtle vanilla and roasted hazelnut aromas, followed by a delightfully flavoursome palate offering succulent fruit flavours with creamy texture and beautifully infused acidity, finishing long and delicious."
