GOLD MEDAL | NWAA 2023
FIVE STARS 94/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
93/100 | Bob Campbell MW
From the producer of our top selling chardonnay comes this reserve-level wine which takes all the things we love about Beach House Chardy and turns them up a few notches. As always, Chris Harrison has packed immense amounts of flavour into a bottle of wine and, after aging in French oak and undergoing full malo fermentation treatment, it's deliciously creamy and packed with ripe stonefruit flavours. Dive in.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Gorgeously complex and enticing, the bouquet shows golden peach, fig, vanilla and cedar characters with a hint of lemon zest. The palate delivers terrific weight and persistency, wonderfully complemented by fleshy texture and well-integrated acidity, finishing long and delectable."
The winery writes "A real powerhouse of a Chardonnay with all the elements we love; punchy stone fruit, brioche notes from the malolactic fermentation, fine French oak bringing structure and spice. Vintage 2021 was a stunner across the board and what better way to express this great vintage than this fine example of Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay at its absolute peak."
