We loved this one. Fuller-bodied and more unctuous than traditional Italian Vermentino, this wonderful release was a standout for us at a comprehensive tasting of Italian white wines. As the importer said "I was looking for a crisp Italian white that would be very appealing to the Kiwi palate, and as soon as I tasted Aragosta i knew that my search was over." We're so glad he found this wine - and expect it to have a high reorder rate now we have it at Advintage HQ.
Fresh and zesty, it shows lovely fluid texture and plush flavours in the citrus / apple / semi-ripe pear spectrum. You don't have to be a genius to work out this wine will be a brilliant match for fresh seafood - but it's a delight by itself too. Give it a crack. You won't be disappointed.

The winery writes "This wine is a specialty of the island of Sardinia, it’s light, crispy and aromatic showings its immediate connection to the land and sea. This fresh fragranced wine is reminiscent of ripe apples and florals, with a pleasantly lingering aftertaste of almonds."
