Sherwood Estate started as a husband and wife operation in Waipara in the late 1980s and it's evolved into one of the biggest independent wine operations in the country. They focus on making quality wines with an emphasis on environmental stewardship, having become one of the first Waipara wineries to become accredited with Sustainable Winemaking New Zealand.
Their Brut Rose is an elegant blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Waipara Valley, and has spent four years ageing on lees. A delightful wine that exudes elegance.

The winery writes "A pale salmon colour with light delicate aromas of strawberry and raspberry. A favourite with seafood, especially shellfish, as the refreshing acidity of the wine accentuates the flavours of the seafood."
