PLATINUM MEDAL & 97/100 | Decanter World Wine Awards
GOLD MEDAL | UK Wine Awards
GOLD MEDAL | TEXSOM International Wine Awards
94/100 | Wine Enthusiast
93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
Vinted from 40% pinot noir, 35% chardonnay and 25% pinot meunier (the Champagne grape variety), Digby is the bold yet charming jester of the Digby portfolio. As a pinot noir dominant sparkling, it's round and rich with a lovely backbone of acidity thanks to the pinot meunier component. Expect flavours of green apples and citrus supported by a fine lees complexity. Delicious.
To receive a platinum medal at the Decanter World WIne Awards is a big deal. It means that the wine had first won a gold medal and at least 97 points, and is then re-tasted by the judging panel. An amazing accolade for a very deserving Champagne-esque sparkling.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "An attractive bouquet with scents of autolysis and white strawberry, apple and white rose, some white clay and chalk mineral qualities. Crisp and dry with flavours of apple and citrus with layers of autolysis and a whisper of fruit spice, then a fine lees effect and complexity."
