This Provencal-esque blend has been a smash success with The Advintage Faithful. It is delightfully crisp and dry with a very pale salmon colour, zingy berry / citrus fruits and refreshing minerality. It's wonderful anytime drinking and with excellent reviews rolling in, the 2022 vintage is sure to go down as one of our most popular summer wines.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's splendidly delicate and fine, showing nectarine, apple, lemon pith and floral aromas with a hint of flinty overtone. The palate is equally charming with fine focus and linear mouthfeel, finishing fabulously long and elegant."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Aromas of peach and red apple, a touch of raspberry then flowers and mineral stony earth quality. A plush satin texture as the wine touches the palate, flavours of red berry then peach with a touch of apple skin. Refreshing with a crisp acid line and gently warming alcohol adds weight."
The winery writes "Indian Summer, the primary rosé blend of Waiana Estate, is a dry, ultra-pale, Provençal -style blend with a refreshing minerality infused in its onion skin colour. It incorporates a unique blend of Hawke's Bay viognier, pinot gris and merlot grapes, the majority of which are grown at Waiana Estate. This wine has been allowed time to rest on its lees until early September to achieve the complexity the winemaking team were looking for in the blend."
