Blackenbrook are a small, family-run winery in the Nelson region. They take a 'quality over quantity' approach to winemaking and, as well as being an accredited sustainable winegrowing producer, most of their wines are also unfined and vegan.
Made from 100% pinot noir, this is bright, strawberries and cream esque rosé with a kiss of sweetness. Delightful drinking.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Ripe and fruity bouquet, aromas of red tea and melon, raspberry flesh and yellow plums. On the palate a dry wine with an intense core of red berry fruit, red apple skin and tropical fruit tea. Fine fruit tannins and a backbone of acidity enhance the flavours, suggest a light saline quality and a refreshing plush finish."
The winery writes "Our Pinot Rosé 2023 is an explosion of juicy red fruit. The ripe acidity stylishly balances a whisper of sweetness. Dangerously smooth!"
