Muriel's Fincas De La Villa 2017 is a full-bodied, 100% tempranillo reserva from the Rioja Wine Region. This wine is deep and dark with earthy florals and leather on the nose. The palate is mature with earthy flavours, savoury herbs, meaty balsamic notes on the palate. A classic Rioja in cracking form. Muriel ages their Reserve wines for two years in American and French oak, a year more than required by wine law.

Tasting Notes
The winery writes "The wine has a characteristic ruby colour with orange rim which corresponds to its aging. Very intense, clean aromas with the usual notes found in quality wines with a few years of aging. We find notes of leather, dry leaves, vanilla, coffee, pepper and other spices as well as good quality ripe fruit. It is silky and very pleasant on the palate maintaining some of its original freshness. Overall it is delicious and long-lasting."
