Situated on Felton Road, Te Kano is a Central Otago producer with a fast-growing following. Made in extremely small quantities, their Land Series wines seek to highlight the very best from each of the subregions within their family of vineyards - with the Gamay a reflection of their Northburn site.
This is a bright and energetic gamay with soft red fruit weight balanced with fresh acidity. Herbal tinges add a layer of complexity. Can be served lighty chilled (no more than 30 minutes in a fridge.)

The winery writes "This Gamay is a reflection of the unique terrior of our Northburn site. Fresh red berry fruits aromas combine with a distinctive dried herb nose, giving a forest floor quality to the bouquet. Fresh, schisty tannins and lively acidity entwine around a core of vibrant red fruits and savoury, spicy top notes."
