FIVE STARS & RANKED NO.1 AUSSIE SHIRAZ | Cuisine Magazine 2024
96/100 | Huon Hooke
95/100 | James Halliday
Since their first vintage release in 1983, St Hugo have long captured elegance, depth and intensity across their entire portfolio. These days there are some great shiraz emerging out of the Barossa region of Australia, and the 2020 shiraz is a testament to all of the hard work in the winery. It's inky in the glass with a core of dark berry fruits and a well defined tannin structure. 95 points from James Halliday's Wine Companion speaks volume about the sheer quality on offer here. Get amongst it.
