Situated on Felton Road, Te Kano is a premium Central Otago producer with a fast-growing following. This lovely 2021 pinot shows regional Bannockburn generosity, with dark red and black cherry fruits underpinned with good acidity and length. Supple and harmonious, with all the accolades to back it up. Highly recommended.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Delightfully ripe and immediately enticing, the wine shows dark cherry, game, thyme, toasted almond and fragrant spice aromas on the nose. The palate is equally satisfying with supple texture backed by finely infused tannins, finishing splendidly long and delectable."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A lighter weighted wine with a core of pinosity and generosity, flavours of red berries then some plum and raspberry scents. Fine tannins and acidity secure a decent structure ushering in flavours of berries and plum to reflect the bouquet. Balanced and well made, a wine for immediate drinking as well as some ageing potential."
