The palate is succulent and smooth, and shows excellent mid palate weight, finishing superbly long and supple. Delectable and seductive.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A significant bouquet with scents of dark berries and spices from time in oak, there’s earth smoke and toasty barrel attributes, complexity and power. A dry wine touches the palate laden with flavours of boysenberry and Doris plums, dark cherry and flavours of clove an cinnamon, vanilla and hazelnut. Tension and poise from an abundance of fine chalky textured tannins and backbone of acidity. Fruit flavours return showcasing the wine’s youthful and new world energy."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Immensely complex and engaging, the bouquet shows dark plum, toasted spice, tar, olive and hazelnut aromas, leading to a concentrated palate offering plush texture backed by finely infused tannins. It's stylish and elegant with generosity, finishing superbly long and satisfying."
