If ever a red wine summed up our love of Italian blends, this would be it. This is a bold, heady mix of negroamaro and primitivo that has been amped up with the inclusion of some sun-dried fruits in the ferments in the traditional appassimento style, which adds depth and some savoury caramel characters to a wine that is already crammed with flavour. This is richly weighted, full-bodied wine by Italian red standards.

Vinted from 80% negroamaro and 20% primitivo
Luca Maroni writes (2019 vintage) "Ruby red with orange reflections. Intense and complex with notes of ripe fruit and spices. Dry wine with good texture and supple tannins. Perfect with spicy pasta, red meat and mature cheeses."
