Cameron Douglas MS writes "Very enticing, fresh, fruitty and varietal bouquet with scents of ripe doris plums and black berries, dark cherries and a light smoky chocolate quality laced with clove and vanilla baking spices. Flavours on the palate reflect what the bouquet suggests with dark berries and spices. Firm tannins and medium+ acid line layer in freshness and mouthfeel. A lovely wine, balanced and well made."
The winery writes "This deeply coloured wine displays perfumed aromas of dark berry fruits, violets and dried herbs with complexing oak spice characters. A smooth and approachable palate follows with sweet fruit, supple tannins and moreish acidity."
