49% merlot, 34% cabernet sauvignon, 3% malbec.
Decanter judges write "Plums, red fruits, spices and oaked notes. Plentiful concentration on the palate with firm, silky tannins and contrasting acid."
James Suckling writes "Perfumed and pretty with currants and black berries as well as hints of cedar. Medium-bodied with fine chewy tannins and a fresh and beautiful finish. A blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, malbec and petit verdot. Give it three or four years to come together but already pretty."
The winery writes "Deepest crimson red. Brooding aromatically with notes of cassis, black olive and dried tobacco enveloping a dense core of blue fruits. The wine has a lovely focus on the palate with dark fruits framed by fine tannins to deliver a classical structure with an excellent future ahead."
