FIVE STARS 95/100 | Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review - "The best Bostock Merlot so far"
Quality estate grown Hawke's Bay Merlot that has been finely crafted for the Bostock family by celebrated winemaker Rod McDonald. This is polished wine with good drive and underlying power. It's an attractive style with spicy oak adding background interest to a medium weight palate that finishes fresh and bright. Obvious cellar potential from this exciting small batch producer.

The winery writes "An autumnal feel with varietal ripe plum and dried herbs and a warming core creating comfort. Simplistically sweet fruited but with a level of subtle spice that forms an exotic, luxurious finish."
Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review writes "95 pts. The best Bostock Merlot so far thanks in part to a warm, dry vintage that allowed the grapes to be harvested in perfect condition. A bright, high energy, fruit-focused and sophisticated wine with ripe plum, black berry, new leather, cedarwood and spicy oak flavours."
