Cameron Douglas MS writes "I love the combination of dark red berry fruits laced with toasty smokey wood and barrel spices. Aromas and flavours of roasted plums and blackberry fruits, clove and vanilla, anise and violets. Nice weight and intensity on the palate with with youthful firm tannins and acidity delivering a taut squeeze then relaxes with core ripe red berry fruit and plum flesh and flavours."

The winery writes "Aromas of cedar, vanillin oak lift and dark plum with a subtle savoury mineral complexity. The subtle tannins in the mid palate of this blend of Bordeaux varieties fill the mid palate with a balanced texture and density giving length and structure. Enjoy now or will cellar well."
