The winery writes "With hand selected bunches, foot stomped, natural fermentation, hand plunged. Aged in neutral oak for 15months. This balanced blend of land, climate, vines, people and culture represents a new look at Malbec. The 2020 growing season was long with warm days & cool nights, allowing for natural acidity, giving this wine power and passion with an abundance of fruit concentration."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Vibrant purple and ruby hues with a bright pink rim. Aromas of boysenberry and milk chocolate, cranberry and black currant, a soft dried herb layer and some stony soil earthy core suggestions. Youthful and dry as the wine touches my palate an abundance of dusty chalky tannins, plenty of acidity and a core of red fruit flavours that mirror the bouquet. Refreshing, youthful, dry and fine - a wine that needs time to settle and age - so a cellar stop is recommended."
Yvonne Lorkin writes "Selected handpicked bunches were footstomped, fermented naturally, hand plunged, aged in oak for 15 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Crafted by Lauren Swift, this is a doozy. There’s a fabulously feral aromatic structure to this malbec, slightly smoky, loaded with dried herbs and finishing with robust, drying, gum-gripping tannins. Monster."
