FIVE STARS 93/100 | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
92/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Sparkling Shiraz is taking the Aussie's by storm and it's taking off in New Zealand too, and for good reason. With fruit sourced from the Northern Clare Valley Vineyards, this unique style displays savoury and earthy notes you can expect from shiraz, and a refreshing spritz on the finish. This is a must try wine.

The winery writes "The Knappstein Sparkling Shiraz offers ripe fruit, with soft plump tannins, and a dry finish. Concentration of fruit balances with savoury spice and earthy notes, while waiting for the refreshing hit from the bubbles as they tantalise the palate, leaving a cleansing sensation."
Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Full, deep purple, even colour throughout. Vibrant, fine, persistent bead. The nose is full and savoury, with blackberry, plum, dark cocoa and spice. Full-bodied, ripe blackberry and dark plum entwined with dark cocoa, black pepper and nutmeg. The mouse is creamy and vibrant, enlivens the rich palate. Smooth, dusty tannins provide substance and texture, linger to a dry, broody finish."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Beautifully fragrant and inviting, the bouquet shows sweet plum, raspberry coulis, mixed spice and dark cocoa aromas, followed by a silky-smooth palate that's juicy and lingering. Splendidly styled and attractively drinking."
