Tasting Notes
The Chapoutier family have produced wines in the Rhone Valley since 1808. Michel Chapoutier, currently in charge, has combined tradition with a dynamic, creative approach and makes some of the best wines of the region. This is a delightful grenache and syrah blend with a soft ruby colour. Morello cherries on the nose with a hint of spicy pepper. The palate is supple and structured with candied fruits and elegant tannins.
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "A light touch of spice upfront with dark berry, mushroom and toasted almond notes, it's succulent and smooth in the mouth delivering supple texture and well-integrated tannins. Beautifully balanced and flavoursome with a lengthy savoury finish."
