Granted 'cru' appellation status in 2016, Cairanne produces wines of the highest quality and reflect the natural blessings of the terroir. This lovely 2021 vintage vinted from a blend of 50% grenache noir, 20% syrah and 10% mourvédre perfectly marries intensity and finesse. There's great red fruit weight and fullness on the palate yet it still maintains an elegant tone the whole way through. Seriously good wine.

The winery writes "A serious, opulent and complex example of cru Cairanne. This is rich, intense and drenched in dark red fruits. With morello cherry and a touch of cinnamon spice on the nose, soft dark plummy fruit, liquorice, chocolate, a hint of black tea on the palate, this wine is full flavoured and smooth with supple tannins. A rich, savoury satisfying mouthful that shows greater elegance with air."
