Immediately attractive Cotes du Rhone from a producer synonymous with quality and generosity. It's totally mouthfilling, with flavours of dark fruits that are nicely balanced with herbal and spicy characters. The grainy tannins carry through to a dry, chocolaty finish that leaves you wanting more. Delicious.

Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Full, deep ruby-red with a black-purple hue, lighter on the rim. The nose is full and generous, with aromas of ripe blackberry, boysenberry and plum melded wtih dark herb, bergamot and faint of spice. Medium bodied, aromas of blackberry, boysenberry and plum form a plush core, unfolding dark herbs, bergamot, cured meat and spiced tea. The mouthfeel is filled with supple, fine grainy tannins and carries a hint of smoked chocolate to a dry, dark-fruited finish. The fruit shows power and concentration, enriching and broadening the palate with balanced acidity."
