Blended from 80% grenache and 20% syrah, this is supple and velvet smooth wine with immediately attractive flavours of red fruits, finishing long and savoury. The grenache component contributes those succulent red fruit flavours of strawberries and raspberries while the syrah adds some dark peppery notes. Perfumed aromatics of wild berries are supported by a wonderfully long savoury finish with subtle hints of spice balancing out the conversation. An excellent expression of Cotes du Rhone. The sheer user-friendliness of this beautiful wine means it is a delight on its own, but try paired with roasted lamb for an unbeatable combo.
