Domaine Chignard produces wines from one of the best sites in the Fleurie appellation (a sub-region of Beaujolais). This, combined with the decades of winemaking knowledge in the Chignard family, means that Domaine Chignard produce some of the top wines from this special growing region. Vinted from 100% gamay, this 2020 release is medium bodied with fine tannins and flavours in the red berry spectrum. Superbly structured and composed.

The winery writes "A wonderful, floral bouquet with wilted rose petals and violets infusing the pure red berry fruit that is well defined and gains intensity in the glass. The palate is medium bodied with fine tannin, good weight in the mouth and a gradual build towards the red plum and cranberry finish. Harmonious and composed from start to finish."
