This sublime cabernet sauvignon from Tope reflects the patient viticulture and traditional techniques applied in the winemaking process. Tope was founded in 2019 by friends Tom and Pete with a vision to produce wines that are true to their vineyard sites with no synthetic chemicals. Made through a small-batch process, this 2021 wine is a true expression of full yet balanced Clare Valley Cabernet at its finest. This cabernet is one of the founding pillars of Tope, and the label design pays homage to that - being the rental home where the boys first met.

Flavours of sweet cherries and blackcurrant are beautifully balanced by hallmark cabernet characters of cedar and subtle tobacco. There's a nice level of concentration on the palate, finishing silky and satisfying. Well worth a try.
