94/100 | James Molesworth, Wine Spectator
94/100 | Jeb Dunnuck
The Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is a traditional blend of five Bordeaux varietals, showcasing great freshness and complexity whilst still retaining the fruit characters the region is known for. Deemed by Robert Mondavi's winemakers to be among the very best of the winery, this is a surefire, premium wine. Core flavours of blackberries and boysenberries contrast nicely with bay leaf notes and a racy finish.

James Molesworth writes "Throws off some pretty gorgeous aromas of violet, anise and sweet bay leaf, with a core of ripe, streamlined boysenberry and blackberry pâte de fruit flavors following closely. The finish has a racy graphite edge, while the fruit and aromas just spill through."
