The Villa Wolf estate (founded as J.L. Wolf) lies in the picturesque village of Wachenheim in the Pfalz region in Germany. Ernst Loosen, of the famed Dr. Loosen estate in the Mosel area, took over the winery in 1996 and, under his stewardship, Villa Wolf wines have developed a global reputation for impeccable clean wines that are obviously great value.
The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation in order to maintain zippy acidity and freshness. Vibrant fresh fruit flavours explode on the palate with crisp texture and balanced mouthfeel. An excellent partner for salmon, chicken or pork.
