Blended from regional varietals in Beaune, the base wine undergoes extended ageing on lees producing a well balanced sparkling wine with lovely mouthfeel and good persistence. A remarkable buy. Creamy palate offering cut apple and nashi flavours, mid palate richness revitalized by crisp lemon acidity, followed by a clean and complex, lingering fruit filled finish.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A plush, ripe and fruituy bouquet with aromas of pears and apple with moments of white peach. Crisp and just dry on the palate, a fruit centris wine with a soft mousse and plenty of acidity. Fruit flavours mirror the bouquet with a light lees quality."
