What a showstopper. The supercool squat heritage bottles just add to the pizzaz that this special wine brings to the table and this is generous and opulently framed Californian Cabernet with a softness and roundness on the palate we have seldom seen from this varietal. Flavours of blackberry and dark plum flood the palate while some cedar undertones and tobacco / leather notes add complexity. It is rich, mouthfilling and pillow soft but comes with enough fresh acidity on the finish to keep the wine alive on the palate. Prepare to be blown away.

The winery writes "A red blend with 80.1% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9.8% Petite Sirah and 9.8% Malbec grown in the Lodi region of California. The 2018 vintage is a big structured, dense tannin wine offering ripe fruit aromas and flavors of black cherry, black currant, cassis, earth, charred oak and hints of black pepper and natural acidity. The mouthfeel leads to a bold, long, and lingering finish".
