Squawking Magpie 'SQM' Chardonnay is an excellent limited release chardonnay from Gavin Yortt's vast range. With all bottles individually numbered, it's a robust 100% barrel fermented chardonnay offering that we're sure will garner nods of approval from the most discerning members of the Advintage Chardonnay Faithful.
Blessed with exceptional fruit from special Squawking Mapgie blocks and the great 2021 Hawke's Bay vintage playing its part, it's wonderfully textural and balanced with hallmark Hawke's Bay Chardonnay characters - flavours of golden peaches, butterscotch and obvious oak influence.
