Tasting Notes
Shelter Bay Sauvignon Blanc is pale in colour with beautiful texture and wonderful acidity. Intense and powerful aromas of blackcurrants, gooseberry and passionfruit abound. The palate is full and rich with fresh juicy acidity and framed by a balanced minerality that gives the wine a long and flavoursome finish.
Shelter Bay Chardonnay is bright, pale lemon colour with reflections of gold. Grapefruit, lime and fig combine with subtle mineral notes and softer, lees driven aromatics. The palate follows in flavor profile with plenty of citrus and regional stonefruit characters. Layers of creamy acidity bring length and freshness.
Shelter Bay Pinot Noir is complex and enticing. The wine shows sweet cherry, roasted nut, dried mushroom, thyme and dried flower aromas, leading to a velvety palate that's filled with juicy fruit flavours backed by finely pitched tannins.
