Premium Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from Steve Smith MW - the man who drove the winemaking programme for Craggy Range for many years. Now producing wine under his own banner with American tech billionaire Brian Sheth, this is an exquiste example of Marlborough Sauvignon. Bright with an elegant nose in proportion with good depth and intensity of passionfruit and tropical aromas, this is a perfect uncompromising food accompanient.

Tasting Notes

Bob Campbell MW writes "Balancing sweetness and acidity to allow each to contribute requires a skilled artist/artisan. The winemaker who made the final blend in this wine deserves a medal. The sweetness is subliminal while the acidity offers energy and structure with great discretion."

Huon Hooke writes "Light yellow hue with a pungent reductive aroma, of sulfides and pawpaw-like tropical fruit aromas. The wine is very delicate and light-bodied, borderline dilute, but crisp and clean at the finish. Dry finish with a slight grip. An attractive sauvignon blanc."

Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is gentle and fresh, with aromas of green herbs, tropical fruit, citrus, tomato vines and white spice. Medium-bodied, aromas of guava and passionfruit entwined with lemon verbena, tomato vines and a touch of white pepper. The fruit is harmonious, gently integrated with crisp acidity, and flows with stony minerals to a sustained finish. Match with snapper crudo and steamed clams over the next 3 years."
