94/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
There are only a small number of straight cabernet franc releases and Sileni's Pacemaker is one of the best. Fruit from a number of sites throughout the Bridge Pa region was used and blended together before extended oak ageing. The wine is deliciously concentrated and ripe, with luxurious dark berry notes, soft tannins and subtle spicy characters. An excellent partner for your next roast.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "So many aromatic enticements from the bouquet - cinnamon to black berry, dark earth, dried herbs of thyme and sage, to plums and violets. There's a matured olive quality and smoky wood highlights. Fuller-bodied style with dry polished tannins and red fruied palate. Flavours reflect the bouquet held together with acidity and core fruits."
The winery writes "Ripe and concentrated plum, blackcurrant and aromatic spice and florals. Soft palate with velvety tannins and rich berry and spice flavours. Enjoy with grilled meats, duck, roasts, tomato based pastas and hard cheeses."
