Sileni always set the bar when it comes to wines that offer plenty of flavour and complexity, while completely over-delivering on the price point.
This famous Reserve label has always been an excellent example of fine, barrel-fermented Hawke's Bay Chardonnay and this 2022 release brings even more weight and texture to the party. A powerful nose of ripe peach, apricot and French oak promises much and the palate fulfils those flavours with buttery, creamy mouthfeel and more oak spice.
The 2022 is now entering its peak drinking window, and will continue to develop over the coming 3 years. It's easily our favourite wine in the Sileni portfolio and now excellent value with the Advintage Advantage.

Tasting Notes
The winery writes "Rich aromas of ripe stone fruit, citrus and toasted almond. The palate is textured and rich, with powerful fruit concentration overlying well integrated oak and finely balanced acidity."
