90/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Cracking zinfandel from a winery best known for producing this most famous of Californian reds. Right in the zone after a couple of years in the bottle, the 2021 has good palate weight and is sumptuous but not over the top. Tremendous buying.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Sweetly ripe and elegantly expressed, the wine shows Black Doris plum, vanilla, roasted hazelnut and warm spice aromas on the nose. It's succulent and smooth on the palate with plump mouthfeel and silky tannins, finishing long and soothing."
