Rojo Garnacha comes from the fifth generation Navarro Lopez family estate and we can say with some authority that it is one of the world’s great value wines. Imported by gifted Spanish wine importer Steve Bennett MW, we understand Rojo to be the top selling Spanish red wine in the New Zealand market and we can assure you that it hasn't achieved such phenomenal success without good reason.
Hand harvested from 40 year-old Grenache vines in southern Spain and made in a modern, vibrantly fruity, opulent style, this is a classic expression of immediately attractive, juicy, dark Grenache. It's a perfect anytime red with plenty of body and gluggable charm. Rojo never disappoints.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Perfumed and instantly appealing with sweet plum, rich floral, clove and nutmeg aromas, it's succulent and fleshy in the mouth delivering silky flow backed by fine tannins, finishing lingering and delectable."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Great colour and bouquet of ripe red berry fruits, plums and violets. As the wine touches the palate there’s an immediately firmness and youthful from the acidity then tannins, these give way quickly to reveal dark fruit flavours of blackberry then plum. There’s some clove and toasty wood moments, with a balanced even finish. Great food wine, and best enjoyed from 2024 through 2028."
